More so, that being a woman doesn’t mean being less of a human and that I stand a better chance at getting what I want if only I put my mind to it.

Why are they, my top 5 entrepreneurs?

Everyone has different definitions of success. But from my point of view, success is all about doing certain things that will redefine something entirely and make it beneficial to the human race at large. These female entrepreneurs suit my definition of what success is all about and that’s why they top my list and they are as follows;

  • Sara Blakely, The Founder of SPANX – Sarah is not just a successful female entrepreneur that I look up to, but a role model in all ramifications of life. Starting her business at age 29 with the savings she was able to raise while switching jobs, she was able to transform her shaping underwear now name SPANX to a company with average annual revenue of $250 million.

From my time of studying her, what I discovered was that she has a problem-solving spirit and that has indeed earned her a fortune.

  • Gisele Bundchen, The Founder of Sejaa Skincare – There is no way I can prepare my list without including this powerful supermodel, who has successfully build a skincare line out of just being a model. Isn’t that fascinating? Of course, it is! She is indeed a female entrepreneur to needs to be applauded.
  • Tory Burch, The Founder, and CEO of Tory Burch – When we talk of female entrepreneurs that patiently climbed the leader of success, Tory Burch should be at the forefront. This woman worked for top fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez, and Vera Wang for years before actually setting out to create her brand in the year 2004. The most amusing part is that she didn’t start big. Her business empire all started from her Manhattan apartment.
  • Weili Dai, A Cofounder of Marvell Technologies – Although there are several women out there who solely invest in businesses for future financial gains. But Weili Dai is quite different as she started the business with other co-founders when it was at its primitive stage. This shows that she is a woman with visions.
  • Arianna Huffington, The Founder of Huffington Post – Here is another female entrepreneur that inspires me as well. As the co-founder of Huffington Post, she has been giving this company all her best to see it succeed and of course, it did.

Having shared the top five female entrepreneurs on my list, am sure other men and women out there will feel inspired to start dreaming and setting goals.
